..first of all it's not really safe. Downhill speed in long steep regions can't be controlled all that well only with brakes. Second, easy to overheat your brakes and not only wear out pads, but warp rotors in worst conditions. 3rd, I don't remember seeing any rallying done in neutral down hill, and I think those drivers have more experience than most.....but that's just my opinion
