I took my wife's Pathfinder to work this morning, so I could bring home my sis-in-law's computer from work. Anyway, I was turning left from Spring Valley to the Tollway access road, on the inside turn lane. A late-model Rustang that was weaving through traffic came hauling a$s through traffic and took the outside left turn lane around me. He took it too sharp, and cut my turn off, which pissed me off. I knew he was headed for the tollway, and he would need to change lanes, so I punched it after completing the turn. Now, my Pathfinder may be gutless, but it had just enough to get to my front end next to his open window. When he proceeded to try to come into my lane, (without looking I might add), I leaned on the horn right next to his ear. I knew replacing those wimpy stock Nissan horns would come in handy someday :-) Anyway, it scared the hell out of him, and he had to back off and get in line. I think everyone else saw what the guy had been doing and nobody would let him in line. He wound up about 5 cars behind me. I stuck the Pathfinder in the left lane and proceeded to do a nice 75 with traffic while he bobbed and weaved through traffic behind me all the way down the tollway, until I lost sight of him. I had a smile on my face the whole way to work. Silly man ... if he had not been such an a-hole, I would have gladly given him the right of way. Before anyone flames me, I will point out that at no time during this encounter did I exceed the speed limit (until on the tollway), did I change lanes, or do anything illegal to block him.
