Message Unless you want to have to unlearn a lot of how to quickly get a car through a corner, then don't start your driving career with a front driver. They're good in the rain, and offroad, but pretty much offer no cornering feedback at all. A prelude Sh gives the best feedback of any front driver that I have driven, and it's still not that great...mash the gas out of the corner, and it will try to go whichever way torque steer takes it. Luckily most fwd's are totally pathetic when it comes to torque at the wheels. Which makes them safe...and boring.. Get a 240sx, and don't waste your money on any mods...just learn about how the systems on the car work, and concentrate on keeping the car mechanically sound. This will teach you what you really need to know when you are in a better position to buy a Z. Then, you can daily drive the 240 (maybe even with a sr20det swap), and pull out the stage ~ Twin Turbo Z on nice sunny weekends. Of course my first car was a Dodge Shelby Turbo @ age 16, which I sold @ almost 17 and bought a Big Block '71 chevelle SS, which I still have, and then @17 I bought my NA Z, which never gave me a single problem in the 8 years I drove it (it's for sale, BTW). So, I can't say that it wasn't worth having the Z in high school....but I had been working on cars and motorcycles for years before I had my drivers license, and had a decent level of understanding of how they worked. Buy a Z when you graduate high school..so you won't find that you've destroyed your Z by the time you graduated high school instead. Just my thoughts.....do what you want
