| I was driving and all of the sudden I heard the fan kick on. I was puzzled by this because normally in cooler weather it doesnt kick on. I looked at my temp and it was up to 210. I usually run at around 160 so I knew something was up. BY the time I got to a gas station it was around 240, so I knew without a doubt I had a problem. I popped the hood a there was the leak. Coming off the hard pipe for the radiator it was leaking pretty bad. I checked the clamps and they were fine. Put everything back together and retightened it and havent had a problem. My only guess was the change in temp cause the clamp to not be as secure as before and I sprung the leak. If I had been further out I might have been stuck on the side of the road for a while waiting for help. The temp shot up pretty quickly. I would tighten all the coolant lines just like fuel lines.
