Second, I thought the whole purpose of a project car was to work on it yourself. My first car was a 1974 Beetle, definate project, but it came out nicely when I sold it... wish I still had it right about...now. If you are a college student, sell your car if you aren't going to do things yourself. It will break you. I do my own work, I'm a "struggling" college student. But I know what I'm doing and I know my limitations. My recomendation would be becoming friends with engineers at your college if they have an engineering program... that is if they are good. I'm no engineer, yet I was the only one that could fix the damn ice maker and I room with 3 engineers (sad I know). But find a car club, get buddy buddy with them. Learn to decifer the bull shit from the real and you should be fine. If you ever feel like taking a trip South to Florida, there are plenty of us UF students that wouldn't mind helping you out... gas is expensive, I know. Anyways, good luck with your car. Just out of Curiosity, what work did you need done?
Funny thing is my girlfriend says I'm too fast. Go figure ~jonnyz (DC)
