yes, globals are essentially Canadair Challenger 600s with additional frame bays. (10 feet roughly).
But that's how Boeing and most air frame companies are getting more range out of the same platforms... Infact, most airframe companies recently have added a weight reduction group. I've got quite a few friend doing that at Gulfstream. So it does help...


:Seems like it would be a good idea if you didn't lose too much strength on the car; really drop the weight. Have the roll cage be you "backbone" and the body panels, etc just to hold teh shape :-)
that's what it looks like he did with the floor pan and the door sills... again, a really fantastic example of a racing Z32 built for a purpose. A real hard-on for me!
