say break it in softly and others say, well, the rings seat once it's started and run for 20 minutes so drive like a bat out of hell. I have talked to both sides and heard nothing but good about breaking it in slow, and only very few horor stories about running it hard after a fresh rebuild. I still believe in the slow breakin, you can make sure that everything is nice and tight after the first 1000 miles after things expand and contract a few times, if you just go straight out and beat the hell out of it, in my opinion you have a better chance of catching small problems over a slow breakin. :) Just my .02 cents as usual, damn I seem to be spending alot of cents lately.
