Message	A member of our local car club (Clapp) was quoted in the WCJB article above. You can find more reading on Gainesville.com. Myself and some members even attended a meeting held by the Alachua Sheriff’s Office back in Sept. to address the exhaust noise problem, discuss what is considered illegal, and what can be done to comply. ASO has backed down from all their exhaust tickets because the officers have realized that when they have to fight these stupid tickets in court, they have no idea what is stock versus modified. The statutes are also very fuzzy...and ASO has trouble explaining how they even interpret them to issue such citations.
