Message we set up all of the various sensors and electronic devices to RECIEVE these odd-shaped connectors? =)

My theory is that by popping the hood after every drive (assuming you have a safe place to park it), you will decrease the damage done to the harness. This of course works better when starting with a new harness. I see it as although there *is* a lot of heat present in the engine compartment while the car is in motion, much of it is getting moved at any given rate of speed. When you park the car, that heat becomes stagnant and rises to the top of the engine bay - getting trapped under the hood where 90% of our connectors are and cooking them. I think this has a lot to do with why our harnesses get so brittle. Of course, it's just theory on my part... but it still makes me feel good to pop the hood. =)
