Havn't posteed in like a week. But anyways, I finally was able to take my car on the road to see how the Tein FLEXs with edfc feel like and to make sure that everything was working properly. I took it out around 330-400am so i wouldn't run in to many people, since it is in pieces and also, so i wouldn't run into the law :) Anyways, all I can say if wow. When i set it on the softest setting, it is just as soft as the ride was with my old eibach setup i use to have, except this time there was no bouncyness to it at all unlike how it was with oem struts before. Very nice smooth ride though. I then decided to take it on some backroad twisties between lewisville and denton and set the edfc unit to 4 in front and 6 in rear (higher the number=softer the suspension). Basically the ride was great and it cornered like on rails..granted i have added other items since driving it last but still i could notice a huge difference from before and this is coming from someone definatley NOT pushing their car to the limit either. Later on, i set the edfc to 0F0R and it was very nice as well, but a little too stiff. After my little cruise at 4am, the main thing that I was really happy about was the fact that if i wanted a soft smooth ride then i could get it and push a button and have everything dialed into 16f16R, then if i wanted to shatter the bones in my body and hug som,e corners, i could set the edfc to 0f0R. It really is a great setup and i am very pleased. anybody out there thinking about getting the Teins, but wants to stay away from coilovers b/c the ride will be too stiff, don't worry, b/c if you want the ride to be smooth then it can easily be done with these coilovers atleast. Then if you want it stiff you will have no problem getting that. I have no idea about any other brands of coilovers, but these atleast I know can have either a very smooth ride or a very stuff ride. Anyways, i would give a better writeup, but I don't feel like spending anymore time on the computer heh. Also, to make a long story short..I did get pulled over that night lol.....by 4 police.....woohoo...while putting gas in it. They said they thought it was stolen(expired plate, registration, and inspection). I just talked to them calmly and explained to them what i was doing and why those things were all expired and they let me go no questions asked..no power trips or anyhting. They were all VERY cool and asked me alot about the car..what this did, what that did, what all im doing to it..saying how nice of a car it was asking how much power it had, asking abou tmy wheels, asking why in the world the interior was half out haha. One officer while I was explaining to them the safc and edfc in my glove box mummbled 'amazing.' Haha..thought that was cool. And peolpe here say "they hat cops" pssshhhht. They are people to, and are just doing their job. Also, honestly, even though I had a semi excuse for everything being expired on the car, I still should have gotten atleast one ticket, but I guess they were just all in good moods that night/morning. Anyways thanks for reading and hope yall had a great gobble day.
