Message For example:

On a stock TT with 3.692 gearing (and 26" rear tires), at 3000 rpms in 5th gear you are travelling about 84 miles per hour.

On the same TT with 4.10 Leader gears (and 26" rear tires), at 3000 rpms in 5th gear the transmission is spinning at the same exact speed as before, and therefore the sensor is telling the speedometer you're going 84 miles per hour when you are, in fact, only travelling at 75 miles per hour due entirely to the larger rear end gear.

When you change out the stock TT sensor for a sensor meant to be used with the different gearing (or one close, like the NA sensor), it'll read the correct 75 miles per hour.
