Subject	Getting melted plastic off the exhaust system...

Message	First a raccoon...now a K-mart bag. I’m sure this has happened to someone else before. A plastic grocery bag is blowing by in the breeze along the road...and you make the mistake of running over it. Next thing you know it smells like a Barbie doll factory is on fire underneath your car. Is there an easy way to get this crud off? I tried scraping it off this morning while the car was cool...but it didn’t budge. Would trying to get it off while the exhaust is hot be any better? Any other remedies?
