Message but if you are, the "minimal" lag with the 2530s, sport 700s, etc. does not make it a good track car compared to a well set up sport 500 or (better yet) 530 car. The ultimate high speed response (highway pull) will be much more pronounced with the bigger turbo cars, but on a track, response and ability to get into a stay in you powerband is everything. My guess is there are members here with stock turboed, well set up, track cars, that would make the big turbo cars look silly on most tracks. Track most important=sport 500 or 530....big thrill in third and forth gear pull in a straight line=sport 700s, 2530s, and modified versions thereof. This is a bit shameless, but you are mentioning track performance and turbos. There is another mod that will dramatically improve both of what you are looking for (track performance and straight line pull), and that is going to a shorter gear. There is a 4.10 ring and pinion made to directly fit into your existing housing. Some folks favor doing an NA to TT subframe swap (they are 4.08 gears). For more info on the 4.10s, there is a website that explains them: [ www.leadergears.com ] Take care, Mark
