Message Well,

For the past quite a few years I have been running a part-time powdercoating and polishing business. Things really went down hill for me about 2003~2004. Unhappy with my life I set a series of personal goals to myself. Some i succeeded in doing so. Other goals i failed to achieve. Running my personal business has not been a complete failure but a hard life lesson. (for the better).

When i started doing better at the beginning of 2005 I was very eager to make my business rise again. I started of very slow and low key. Helping those emailed me, who asked questions, small advertisements. All seemed to be the right steps about getting my business back in the right direction. Doing excellent quality work, and keeping in good communications with customers( another hard lessoned learned). As well with being truthful about what was going on with there stuff. Even if things weren't going smooth. I guess i picked up alot of advice from my boss at my powdercoating job. I observe him as he talked to customers, pays attention to detail, and learning from mistakes that he made in the past.

Well about 9 months ago I was looking into a new career path. Since I was very young I have always wanted to be a mechanic (not just an ordinary mechanic). I had refused to work on bs day in day out. The whole part of why we work on our cars because its our passion.

I had lost sight of my passion while i was doing my regular day jobs. Not knowing how to step out of a normal career. I had taken a huge risk doing my business full-time(spring 2004). To do more with car performance/ and engine dress up. While the business failed because of myself. I had taken a 180degree turn in knowing what i exactly wanted to do in life. Sometimes when you find yourself with the walls closing in the only person you can turn to is yourself to get yourself out of a terrible hole.

There is this one shop in IL ( those who live by Plainfield would know it if they saw it.) ( A Big shop off I55 near Weber Rd. ) Still guessing DALE COYNE RACING Champ Car Team.

No this isn't the job i got but it was a divine passion that i wanted to get into. I called many places looking for a spot on a team as a race car mechanic.( Walker Racing, Dale Coyne Racing, Jensen Motorsport, Forsythe Racing.). I finally had got some good answers from Eric Jensen. He pointed me in the direction to get in touch with Gelles Racing. (Formula BMW and Alantic Champ Car).

I had a very nice phone conversation with Bob Gelles. At the end of the phone conversation I was invited to come out and work with the team for 2 weeks ( Nov 1- Nov13th 2005). Well I went out and gave it 110% effort and attitude. With nothing to lose and giving it my all I have earned a spot with Gelles Racing as a race car mechanic!!!!

This has been an oppurtunity of a lifetime which I am taking! Well so I am done with powder coating and polishing as Dec 23rd. The Z goes up for storage for awhile. Now its time to start my career that i have always wanted. Thank You for everything!!!!! I'm not going anywhere besides Front Royal, VA!!!!!!!!!
