Message It's totally non-linear, which is why you have to index and interpolate (which is exactly what the ECU does) to get actual airflow. And as Ash stated, there's not a linear relationship between airflow and power.

However, looking at MAF voltages before and after a mod is very useful in determining effectiveness of that mod. It would be impossible to estimate exact power increases due to MAF increases at the same RPM, but you can get in the ballpark.
