Im looking at possibly doing this shortly. What Im waiting on is to get an engineer to actually tell me how much extra stroke is possible on our engine. SGP commonly bore out their motors to 90mm bore. With an ultrasonic check first I think this is the max size for safety. So if an extra 9mm or so of stroke can be had then that will make it a 3.5l which will show some nice gains. If I cant make it at least this big then I wont bother. Crower will make you a new forged crank to any spec, plus forged rods (or titanium) and new forged pistons to any size with rings etc for $5,500. Not a huge amount extra if you were looking to purchase new rods and pistons anyway. I'l probably go for the titanium rods if I end up building it.
