Even if we cant get a data table readout, going every 500 or 200 would be fine too, the more the better, but I think a 500 can give us a decent approximation. The thing is that its better to have many data points over a period where there is greater change to the graph. When the trangent(derivative) remains the same we dont need data points for that as much as when its changing.
