Lets say you drive to the supermarket 5 mins from your house. After getting your nasal spray you come back out to your car to find a flat tire on the rear. It would take less time and be cheaper just to put on the spare and drive the 5 mins to your house. If you have AAA it would always be quicker to put on the spare, and drive home than it would be to wait for them to get a flat bed. Hell in the amount of time it would take to change the spare, drive home, put the flat tire in the back or your geo drive to discount tire, have the flat fixed, and drive home; you could still be waiting for a tow. AAA is nice, but its best for when you just dont have another option, like when the year old brand new VW transmission installed by VW 20k miles ago dies while your in barstow on your way out for a holiday weekend. Point being, there are plenty of times when I would just as easily put on a spare as I would wait for a tow. No telling what damage can happen if the Z isnt properly towed....
