Message	It can also lead to premature idler/tensioner pulley bearing failure. The timing belt does not stretch. The tensioner is supposed to be installed with ~4mm of slack in the hydraulic tensioner pin to allow for thermal expansion of the engine. It will use up all of the 4mm worth of slack when it gets up to normal operating temp too, so if you dont have that slack in there, it is going to either break a stud or wipe out a pulley bearing.
