since boost controller was turned off, the wastegate spring is the only factor to regulate boost. My guess is, the spring is not doing a great job holding boost at the beginning where they open too early and too much.
Another thing for sure is the A/F was very rich at that rpm range. We are talking about <10.5 and it's due to my second pump kicking in and cause a momentary high fuel pressure.
