You have to prove that it meets federal and local emissions standards, which means testing by an authorized company.... And you have to prove that it meets crash test requirments. This means actually having crash test data to show for it. IF anyone has this data they consider it proprietary. Hence why motorex had the corner on that import segment forever. Besides that even just getting it here is a PITA.... In short, take it from someone who has been exactly where you are.....its not worth the trouble, by the time you could get one here you could just buy a nice TT already here.
