Message a. the "D" tab is just there to help line up the cas, you can do it w. out it and no harm will come of it. The cost vs. "returns/risk" would have steered me clear of that project.

b. you car was designed in the late 1980's and sold only until 1996 which almost 10 years ago. Even in it's day it was rare to see them around. You'll be hard pressed to find a Nissan tech working @ the dealership that was trained on the Z32, most of them only see the last for years of models before they move on to a better paying job or position in the dealership. Just because a guy wears a Nissan shirt and spends all day working on Altima's and Maxima's doesn't mean he knows much about a 16y/o super car that was once the flag ship of a company. The Z32 wasn't designed to be serviced by "Billy" 20 year old Nissan tech who's biggest claim to fame is oil changes on a Titan any other day.
