Message I'm sorry if your pump gas sucks, I would run water injection all day if I were you.
Again the point in case you missed it:
Most places you can get 93/94 at the pump
Thus in most places there isn't as big a market for 100+ octane fuels (at the pump), thus it is nearly impossible to find.
Also, I don't know about you, but I TAKE MY CAR PLACES. So, if I am planning a trip, I don't want to plan it around gas stations that carry 100 octane fuels. I want to have a good solid (conservative) 93 octane pump gas tune (ideally at 500+RWHP) so along the way I can smoke some cocky viper/corvette owners if I am so inclined.
You need to realize the west coast isn't the whole world (travel a bit). If you can't realize much of the potential of your car car day to day, that just sucks for you IMO. You get the mountains and the ocean, we get decent pump fuel.

AND there is something to be said for getting an apples to apples comparison to other cars on the road (running 93 octane pump gas).
