Of course it's nice to have a 2nd tune so you can toggle between two boost/afc settings in your car for race/pump, but the street is where most of us spend most of our time. It’s great that there are guys hitting these huge numbers on the dyno and at the track, but I think most of us are just searching for the ultimate street setup (Max power, Min lag on pump gas). Maybe those two contradict and it’s like wanting to have your cake and eat it too. Maybe we have to find the middle line, but with new developments we occasionally see people get closer towards this ideal. It’s like there is some elusive combination of exhaust manifolds, turbos, downpipes and cam’s that will get it just right. I have a pretty good idea what some of the best setups are currently, but many of us wait patiently for something just a little better while other guys empty out there wallets in trial and error. Big turbo high boost race gas dynos are just a distraction. Shrugs, maybe it’s just a pipe dream.
