Message	just one cylinder is detonating. A well balanced engine (in terms of compression, fuel delivery, induction, etc), will have the same probability of detonation across all cylinders. Typically #5 and #6 run hotter than the rest. Would you agree with me that they are more likely to detonate than the other 4 due to the heat distribution throughout the engine? I have not ruled out the possibility of the #4 injector being underrated to the rest of the injectors, so that may be the reason for this failure. In the case that the #4 injector isn't flowing properly, it would make it more likely to detonate before the others if it is flowing less than the rest. As for checking the detonation sensor at the ECU, would you mind elaborating on what you would suggest I do. I am not aware of any method of making a determination as to which cylinder the ECU is sensing detonation on - I am only aware of a knock count, which is not specific to a cylinder.
