Message Well it has been awhile since I have kept the tt.net community up to date on my personal Z status...

I had just completed my GT28r install earlier this summer and Had Ash come up and tune the car to get things dialed in. During that course the car made 481whp - 470tq @ ~21.5 psi. This was very good for the initial setup, but I really wanted to reach my goal of 500whp, safely.

In search of trying to hit my 500whp goal, Ash and I decided the best plan would be to swap out the stock pistons in place of forged wiseco's and 'freshen' the motor while we were at it. We thought that this would give me that extra push I needed to achieve the 500whp mark.

Rather than stumbling miserably through my first motor build, (and not wanting to risk it) I called once again on the knowledge of Ash Powers. During his week in MN he has been taught me how to build a motor from literally 'ground-zero.' After getting the car dialed in over the weekend, we headed to the dyno monday morning.

The results were just what the doctor ordered...to the tune of 500+whp.

Big smiles from me.
