Message Unbolt as many accessories and parts as is feasible. bundle all your harnesses into large zip loc bags. Use a degreaser first, then assess the condition of your engine bay surfaces. It is likely you will want to repaint some frame and cast surfaces like the power steering unit. You can us a brush and semi gloss black, or spray using chassis black (a thinner consistency paint). Think about using rubbing compound on the fender wells and other body colored painted surfaces. After compounding, use a good polish then wax. Just like exterior surfaces. Bare metal items can be dipped in mild caustic solutions to bring out a bright shine. Or you can use a buffing wheel to polish parts that cannot be dipped like an alternator or power steering pump. Respray all pulleys and attached assys in original colors. Don't get too creative and you'll be OK. Good luck. Gordo
