| Well, had a hundred things fly at me lately. Mom broke her right leg in two spot and needed surgery and required me to take her to and from the hospital the last 3 weeks. But aside from that and a few other issues I finally got a chance to get back on TT.net and post my engine progress. BTW, those that haven't heard from me...I'll be returning emails today, clearing out VW'm and taking phone calls. Thanks to all those guys out there for their help, and help with my moms and blessing/stuff lately. Thanks again, it meant a lot. Well I am finished. Layed the last of the black and then layed the red onto the radiator support bracket. Anywho...here are some shots. Before (just degreased and ready for the long haul of prep)
Before (removed a few bolt and panels and prepping yet again)
1st spray down of the black (Blue Black was the color chosen...a good color in my opinion). Notice the radiator support bracket and the huge amount of body filler I put on it. Kinda re-shaped it a bit as well.

And finally the finished bad boy.

I think it looks really good especially once I start getting all the minor chrome brackets and goodies back from powdercoat. Thanks to SL103 on that one. Supposed to go pick up the engine in the next week or so but we will see. Precision Machining up in Austin is doing the work for me, as far as machine work. I'll be doing the last of the assembly and getting it all together here at the house. Anwyho, that's what I have been up to lately. I'll be here a lot more now that the rocky waters in my life are now a bit more calm. Talk to youz bitches laterz. Holler.
