try tightening down the spare tire, worked for me. Thanks go to dogpile for that info a few years ago. :I'll try the lithium grease on the hood grommets, seems like a worthwhile idea.
:I've already greased the hood and the trunk latches, and I've also adjusted the latch to hold the trunk down as tightly as possible, to no avail.
:Next step is to inspect all the suspension members, especially in the rear. yay, winter project!!
