Message	You simply let off the gas when you reach the desired RPM and the car will simply shift itself... I read my Maxima's owners manual and its shift points are at the 2000rpm range for optimal fuel milage... Acceleration Shift Points are at 15mph (1>2), 25 (2>3), 35 (3>4), 40 (4>5). Cruising Shifts Points are 13, 23, 33, 35 I think... something crazy like that.. I've been trying to shift before 2300-2500 if I can (sometimes you just can't)... or I'll try and skip shift (1st to 3rd to 5th or 1st to 2nd to 4th to 5th, etc). Been doing pretty good...
