Message so I ignored everyone's advice about getting my first z in college bc it will be a money pit and learned the hard way of buying a twin turbo for a cheap price.. its been almost exactly 1 year after my purchace and i've spend probably a good 5000 bux on her.. blew motor, messed up bodywork(and frame i later found out), rotted spoiler, etc etc.. and none of that moneys spent on mods, but just getting her back to "normal"
z's got me spennnnndinnnnnn.. wutever i'm weird it doesnt bother me bc it's fun for me picking up a car thats been totally shitted on and little by little making it good again, better then spending 15k on someone else's masterpiece..

anyway i moved to an apt. where i can actually walk to all my classes in less then 15 minutes, so i decided to hand my car over to my crazy russian friends who do these kinds of shit to take care of my #1 problem.. tweaked frame, and cracked upper and lower radiator supports..
it was so bad that the hood was sitting crooked to the rest of the body, and the damn thing would not lock down, it was just resting against the manual release hook, my whole front suspension was wobbling because of the lower radiator support and nobody understands how I drove the car for a year without any incidents..

BEFORE PICS..

anyways the original plan was to just unweld the 2 support bars, and try to pull the frame back to normal and weld new factory support bars in there.. but as shit got taken apart we realized that the whole front end frame was fucked so they decided to weld on a whole new front end off another z and make everything line up straight, as well as be stronger then it wa sbefore..

anyways the 1 week wait eventually turned into a month, but the result makes it all the while.. got scared for a second because after starting her up the car was smoking BAD for about 10 minutes, but stopped when everything warmed up..

they even painted it to match the car too.. although it doesnt really match because the new pieces look amazing and makes everything else look like a pile of turd...

also what makes everything even more worth it was that I got to replace my ac compressor, condenser and O rings while the front end was out, so i wouldnt have to pull the motor next summer when i actually would need to do it..

anyways everything went as planned, hood / fenders / bumper lines up straight, car drives 1000x better now no more wobbling and squeaking and the hood shaking up and down, and as soon as i install my new adjustable suspention parts and bushings and get an alignment done, it should all be worth it..

then maybe i can start spending my money on all the good stuff like paint, rims or performance..

anyways im just excited because my dsl just turned on today after 2 months of living without it, i got my car back, and i'm done with midterms so i can go out and get shit faced drunk..

thx for viewing
