| i've been ticketed for speeding before a couple times. when i deserved it, i got a ticket. i may not have liked it, but i deserved it. but one time i had an experience that pissed me off. a cop gave me a ticket for "exhibition of speed" when i was doing NOTHING wrong. he pulled me over, said he didnt have me on radar, but looked like i was speeding" he continued to curse me out and said my car "looks" fast (i wanted to tell him its an n/a). he kept on going and going saying all this crap to me, when i was clearly obeying the law. it took me almost a year to take care of the ticket, and the courthouse i went to was under investigation for practicing "unlawful acts" or something like that. my brother had a similar experience with a cop, who even used a racist term to him. then there are some nice cops as well. i got pulled over for going 27 over, i knew i was getting a ticket. but i talked to him for a few mins and convinced him to make the ticket 24 over so i could take defensive driving. that was wonderful of him to do. i have my personal opinion of cops, and for the most part, i hate them. i dont think they are doing their jobs. i also dont think they are catching the "real" criminals. but like i said, i've met some really generous cops who are great people as well. it all depends on the cop. there are nice ones, and there are crooked ones. i'll accept the penalties for when i break the law, but my personal experiences clearly show that sometimes cops go to far and can be dickheads. and thats when i fly my anti-cop flag.
