I also feel like I've had a bit of experience with a BOV or two in my day. I'm not going to argue with you, the stock recirc valves aren't going to hold up forever under the increased boost pressures of a modded Z. In the DSM world (to keep it familiar to me), the plastic recirc valve on the 2G won't hold more than about 10.5 psi. I've dealt with a leaking recirc valve... The way the boost gauge read, I could tell it was leaking. After upgrading to a Greddy Type-S, I can also tell you what surge feels like (before diaphragm adjustment). If I felt even the hint of surge, I would probably swap out right away. Also, Dan has a stage II Z, I don't think his mods make it necessary for him to upgrade his recirc valves at this time. I'm not one to argue on the internet... I generally don't argue, period. You make a good point. Also, if he has either leaky valves or is experiencing surge, I would also suggest HKS plummed to recirculate. :)
