Message	Check with your Secretary of State and the Sec of State where you'll be purchasing the car, as laws are different in different state. I live in Michigan and recently purchased my Z in Georgia. Georgia does NOT issue in-transit tags, unless you purchase from a dealer. So, I just got my insurance and drove it home. I got pulled over, but as long as you have your insurance, along with title and a bill of sale you are fine. Once back to Michigan I had 3 days to register it. No worries..... 1100 miles in just over 12 hours =)
