Before you flame, no I don't have a stereo, and yes I did this as a weight reduction. I fully researched here on tt.net and elsewhere before I bought it, and it seems like it will be good for my needs. I have a trickle charger ordered just incase. I ordered this from [ www.portablepower.com ] in Denver, CO and recieved it 2 days later in TX. Very fast shipping. You have to buy the $11 terminals for this also (already attached in picts). I decided to run this instead of the other one that was recommended for "marine applications only", although it seems like it would provide more power, but is also more delicate. That said, I am holding it in my hand to give you an idea of how small it really is. On my digital scale it weighs 11.5lb. (11lb, 8oz) (it says 12.0 on the battery label though) whereas my NAPA battery weighs 62.2lb. :) I'd say that's a hell of a way to save 50 pounds...and of the correct end of the car too!
