| :were you with the 2-112th armored at TQ? I was with the 215th FSB 1st Cavalry Division. ( A Forward Support Maintenance Company). I was in the International Zone in Baghdad, (green-zone).
This area was the most secure, but for that reason, also a huge target. Picture a downtown metro encircled with pre-fab 12 foot high concrete barriers topped by concertina wire. From across the river it looks like a big gray skee-ball ring and they lob mortars into the circle (these bozos were not trained by any means) and cross their fingers they hit some Americans. Or blow up a checkpoint with a home-made car bomb. really stupid stuff that more often than not would wound maim and kill many of their own countrymen and typically very few US casualties. This is not "Dan's Political viewpoints.net so I wont go further on this one sorry folks. I believe 2-12 cav was supported by one of my sister FSB's 15th FSB I am pretty sure. In short - no. lol
