Message If it doesn't make more power, or the gains are very small in changing the boost from 24psi up to 28 or 30psi, then it is worthwhile to only run it at 24psi as the intercoolers will experience less heat-soak over a duration at this power level. We will just have to see the results though once the testing has been done.

As for what you guys are seeing on Seb's car, it seems apparent to me that you are having wastegate issues since you can't make over 24psi or so. I put together a writeup in the FAQ section on the importance of re-clocking the wastegate arm so that the actuator rod to wastegate control arm have a 90-degree relationship to each other in order to maximize the actuator's spring effect. The driver's side turbo is the worst because the actuator is located so low in repect to the wastegate arm and I think this is where your problem is at.

If you are running the JWT dual-pop with a single MAS, the driver's turbo is the side pulling the metered air through the sensor. What may be happening with your high EGTs is that since the driver's turbo wastegate doesn't have as much spring tension due to the relation angle of the wastegate arm and actuator rod, it is causing the car to run leaner. This is beacuse the passenger turbo is likely spooling harder, which is supplying more than half of the total airflow into the engine, but the MAS doesn't see this. THis is just speculation though as I'm not sure if Seb is using a dual-mas setup or not, but just a suggestion if he is.

Cool talking with you Greg -
