Message everyone else has reported, as well as the folks that have NA diffs. Without getting into a pissing contest, you really didn't optimize what they are most designed to do for drag racing: get your car out of the hole (ie. 60' times). "The West Coast thing" is that the guys that learn to drive their cars at the strip with the gears are doing 1.5s in the 60'. Your best was a 1.7x, and you went 11.8x, that's a great 1/4 mile ET with a mediocre 60'. It also takes some practice to get the 60's down. I realize you lost your car and were deprived of that practice, but I don't think you had a chance to realize the gears potential. It's not a bolt them on and drive down the strip a half second faster. And to tell "the kid" he is going to break something "on the rear or his drive shaft" is incorrect. The chances of breaking a driveline component with drag radials on an R230 rear end is non-existant. The only things I've seen broken on an R230, with slicks not drag radials, is an occassional axle. Best of luck to you, Mark
