rollover accident, side initial-impact to end-over-end, landing on nose of car, deploying three airbags on my side of the car while I was wearing my fullfaced helmet. No broken jaw Maybe I am missing something, but if they dont break people's jaws who arent wearing helmets (and we have all seen the soccer moms slid all the way up against their steering wheels while driving), why would there be a risk of them doing so when some does wear a fullfaced helmet? unless these people are wearing helmets that are too big for them, and the SCCA is worried about the helmet itself impacting the chin, but surely the SCCA is aware of the far greater danger of wearing helmets that are not the correct size for the wearer. Seems like if anything, there could possibly be a neck injury from the bag deflecting the helmet "chin" upward, but I really think thats a stretch as well. Good to know, but hardly worth worrying about if you ask me. I cant see many people who simply use their motorcycle helmets for auto applications, buying a whole new helmet for this remote possibility of a freak accident.
