Message	but just from personal experience I would say a good amp is almost as important as good speakers. I have diamond audio components in my door which are pretty good and had a no name brand amp powering them and then I got a jl audio amp later on, and the difference was unbelievable IMHO. "Old technology is OK as long as it works, right? All the "ox cart" comparisons don't hold water as far as I'm concerned.
