| lately on the car to speak to so I haven't posted much. Essentially - I have been driving the car a lot the past few months making sure everything was running right. But I am starting to get to the final stages of the project and I am pretty excited about the car now so I figured I'd share. For a brief history / click on the links in my sig Short story - last year I dyno 604rwhp on race gas and water injection on my sport 600's at 32psi. I blew the passenger side turbo one night coming back from the track when a vaccum line blew and I overspooled. So the next phase in my project Z began: I began to install / change my setup and gathered the following pieces 1 GT28RS Turbos extrude honed 2 Dual walbro fuel pump setup - got rid of stock fuel pump 3 ASH Spec DUAL FPC driver ( not installed yet ) - more details to come 4 RPS Segmented Flywheel ( not installed yet ) 5 Greg Dupree 3 inch split downpipe - got rid of 3 inch random tech downpipe 6 Greg Dupree cat back exhaust -5 inch oval - got rid of Stillen cat back exhaust 7 ASH Spec Massive side mount intercoolers ( not installed yet ) - got rid of Stillen intercoolers 8 ASH Spec 2.5 inch intercooler piping ( not installed yet ) - got rid of stock intercooler piping 9 Custom low pressure intercooler vents in fender wells ( thanks Bernie ! ) Tonite - I finally took the time to fix my boost controller issues ( vacuum lines connected backwards on stepping motor ) --so for the first time I am boosting more than my stock boost ( which is 1 bar = 14.7psi) ... let me tell u, WHOA ! I only ran it to 1.25 bar which is about 18psi because the car is not tuned right now. And still WHOA ! This baby pulls -- HARD ... I can't wait to get this car tuned ! The stuff that is not installed yet - I will get installed. I also will install my HKS ignition amp ( if it isn't falty ) because I have a suspicion that I might be blowing out the spark at high boost. I will have a ton of pictures at the end of the month when I hit the dyno and when I have the front end torn apart. I plan to run similar boost levels that I had on my sport 600 setup. 22psi on pump with h20 and 30-32psi on race with h20. I am hoping with the changes that I made I can get 700rwhp ( or close to it ). The SGP motor has proven itself and the ball bearing turbos should be able to handle the boost ( just in case a vaccum line blows again - zip tied them this time ) I'll keep everyone posted - I hit the dyno on 10/26-10/28
