if I want more than their valuation I would need to have the car appraised by a licensed appraiser (think classic cars, etc) and they would honor that but with the understanding that depreciation would begin subtracting value over time. He plugged in the numbers and said there would be little change in my premiums for the additional insurance. I own the car and currently have comprehensive coverage. I'm in a 90TT, married, over 30, in North Florida, been with Allstate a looong time, have no claims, decent driving record and great credit.
