| Brake kits such as RMS's Wilwood Kit do offer different advantages that may not be readily apparent. The obvious one is that it fits under stock wheels. The second is that the heat dissipation capabilities of the thicker rotor are vastly superior to anything in the stockish rotor size. That is the main downfall of the stock brake setup, not initial clamping power. Combine that with the larger than stock rotor, and you have a setup that I am convinced will run all day with the Stoptechs. At a certain point, the tires become the weak link. Any brake that can send your front tires into ABS is more brake (in terms of clamping power) than you need. If the Wilwood setup can do that, then the Stoptech will be no more effective. The difference in the BBK's will be how well it can do that over the course of a day. I've not seen testing showing differences there. That being said, I absolutely love my Stoptechs. They are a wonderful addition to my Z, and very happy with them. They are designed beautifully, and they are top notch quality. Big thanks to Kuah at SPL Parts :)
