There are several full big brake kit setups out there that include larger diameter rotors and calipers with more pistons. Alongside the full kits, there are some larger rotors with offset brackets which intends to use the OEM calipers. And then there are some stock replacement rotors with cross-drills and/or slots. So, with all the different options available, surely there is a pecking order, no? I found out that with the wheels of my desire, I cannot have any of the BBKs -- none of them will fit within the interior of the wheel. So my options are limited. With that said, are BBKs really necessary or are the "other" options "just as good"? Before answering that question, some have praised BBKs and swear by a certain brand; some others have said BBKs are a waste of money and there are alternatives that are just as good. Some go as far as stating to a fact that BBKs do nothing for shorter stopping distances. Which statement is true?
