I've never managed near that on a routine basis in my NA in alomst 125,000 miles of driving it. In TX I had a 95% interstate commute heading away from Dallas, so there was NO traffic and I never had to take it off cruise (set at 75-80mph) and I only managed 21.5 +/-.5 mpg per tank, week in and week out for 4 years. That was with intake, cat-back and 93 octane fuel running 17 degrees timing. Driving from New Orleans to Virginia last year I did average some where in the 28 mpg for a tank and even a 30+ mpg for a tank, but I had the cruise on 5 over the limit and never touched the gas, and made a huge effort to go easy om the car. Was worried about it breaking down in the middle of the 1100 mile drive if I beat on it since it had 206,000+ miles on it at the time. But, that trip was WAY out of the norm as far as gas mileage goes for me. Here in Virgina I get 20.5 +/-.2 mpg per tank, week in and week out. I keep a log and it stays in that narrow of a band; I'm a very consitent driver. Perhaps with the taller gearng of the TT and being extremely easy on the gas you can get 25 mpg, but I don't see how. My commute is just over 16 miles each way.
