| I don't really know where I got this idea from but I thought it would be a neat thing to have for night cruise-ins and such. The concept is to give a low glow to the motor during night conditions to help better highlight it. Below you'll see the difference with them on/off once you're up on the motor: OFF
 ON
It was very well lit at this location so the "glow" isn't so pronounced but you should get the idea here. Add the hood mirrors in and I think it's actually quite nice. A picture of them installed here, nice and stealthy:
The LEDs are mounted flush into the hood with the wiring going down the hood in the channels where you can't see them and to the battery. I just have a small clip that connects to the positive battery terminal and WE HAVE LIGHT!!! Very clean install and it should be because I'm told I still owe some people for a kick in the nuts to get those in. I know ricey, but I like it. A novelty item you could say..... Randy
