Message	they become productive at the point that the stock recirculation valves can't support the boost anymore. I am unsure exactly what point that is, but eventually the stock recircs won't be able to flow enough air anymore, and at this point, an aftermarket blow off valve will be beneficial because of their larger air passages. Of course, an aftermarket recirculation valve would be even better, but whatever.
