If I were to attend a battle of the imports, it would have to be with a
setup that would guarantee me stomping on everyone.. not just most of
them. I would be very unhappy if some highly modded turbo 4 banger
beat my Z, and as she sits right now, that's a possibility (I expect 12's
from her as she's honestly a lightly modded car compared to my old
one). Maybe when I have the GT2530's back on, but I'll be more likely
to just go on test and tune days and race for the enjoyment instead of
trying to embarass ricers... I've done enough of that with the red car,
and look how she sits now.I'm broke anyway, so I won't be able to afford it. Any chance of you coming up on the 25th for the ChicagoZ.com meet?
(I think it's the 25th, but I'm not positive and I can't seem to find the info
right now). Also, I intend to start toning down my involvement in the car community.
I'm sick of some of the things I'm seeing... the cars on ChicagoZ.com,
the topics that people are discussing, and the overall stupidity that
follows the import crowd when they have events ("my gutted NA Civic
runs 12's, but I don't have any proof"). If you haven't noticed, I've been
absent much more on the forums; I've helped/participated as much as I
care to.
