Message	doesn't change in regards to it's roughness, where beadblasting would compress the metal and "smooth" it out. I also think the sandblasting cleans and prepares the suface more thoroughly. Whatever the hell they do, you (this is for SoloCon) don't have to do the prep....that's part of their process. Take care, Mark
