Subject	Grind off Caliper logo to fit front wheels ??

Message	For thos eof you who have grindded the front brake calipers, how much/ how deep did you grind off the caliper ?? I checked previous posts using search engine and no one indicated how much. To fit my wheels, I need to grind below the Nissan lettering about 1mm. Everything I've read suggests the logo and the raised up bar on the caliper is for show so Nissan could put its logo on. So if you ground the calipers or have knowledge of, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Plan to hire a speed shop the does brake work to do the work. After girindingis done, I'll polish the caliper smooth and paint them red with engine paint. If the work turns out okaya nd the polishing works, the I'll decide if I want to hire a Pin Stripe Painter to hand paint the Nissan logo back in place. If you've ever seen hand painted pin stripes or painted custom work, it is worth it, rather than leave ground up caliper naked and ugly. Thanks.
